Db Major - Major Scale

In one sentence: Five flats: Bb, Eb, Ab, Db and Gb. Db Major has UNIQUE and enveloping sonority. Chopin immortalized it in his emblematic Nocturne op. 27 No. 2. Debussy and Ravel used it to create unique impressionist colors. Technically similar to C# Major but written enharmonically. Its extreme warmth makes it perfect for contemplative and deep music. Requires total muscular relaxation and refined technique.
